Welcome to 2025 Snowmobile season

Dear Snowarriors,

As I sit typing this note, I see snow on the ground so here’s hoping more is on the way. After last season, we are certainly due a few good dumps this season. How great would it be to have a rideable Christmas… you remember those days??

I want to take a few moments to reach out and give everyone an update on the club which continues to be strong. The groomer is all tuned and ready to keep our trail a smooth ribbon of white. Membership grows each year and we will certainly surpass 300 members again this year. There are a couple of things you can do to help ensure this is the case. If you have not gotten around to rejoining, please do. The club has obligations that it can only meet through membership dues and while registration fees have gone up, our membership fee has not. Additionally, if you know of anyone that had previously been a member of the Newcomb Snowmobile Club, please steer them in our direction. If we can get enough of these folks joining us we will try to continue some of their most popular events

As for our events, we will of course be holding the ever popular Baked Potato Night on Saturday of President’s weekend, plus at least two Meet and Greets out on trails. The location is dependent on weather. Oh and of course Irish Road Bowling will be on Saturday 3/15 on Pelon Road, so make your plans now! Signups will begin early February.

One last housekeeping note. Please support the club in our Fuel Rebate Drive.  By placing your fuel receipts in the boxes at Stewart’s in Indian Lake and North Creek as well as the One Stop, the club gets a rebate of 8 cents per gallon. This really adds up and helps fuel the groomer and all our other activities around the trails and town.

Have a great Holiday and riding season. Remember we ride stronger together!
