Why Become a Snowarrior
Thank you for visiting our Website. Considering the fact that you are on our website, you already can see the pride we take in sharing our club with other riders. Of course, we all know why it makes sense to join a Snowmobile Club from an economic standpoint – who wouldn’t want to pay $36 bucks for a family membership so that you can save $55 PER SLED on all your registrations? What I am talking about though is why you should join our club – THE INDIAN LAKE SNOWARRIORS. Regardless of where you ride in New York State, the beautiful Indian Lake region is considered by many to be the crossroads of the Adirondack trail system. Through your membership in the SNOWARRIORS, you will be an integral part of a club that is a vital link to so many areas that snowmobilers throughout the state traverse each winter. The Moose River Plains, Inlet, Eagle Bay, Old Forge, Raquette Lake, Speculator, Perkins Clearing, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake, Newcomb to name just a few, are all favorite destinations of riders in NYS and the Indian Lake Region. As a Snowarrior, you will know you are part of a dedicated group of snowmobile enthusiasts that keeps these destinations connected. Plus, as a Snowarrior, you have the added peace of mind that in the event of a problem in our area, you have a group of volunteers that will do whatever they can to help you out. Our member donated Bearcat has pulled many sleds to safety. In addition, the club has a two sled loaner trailer for those who need to move a sled but don’t have their own.
But it is more than just riding. Being a Snowarrior gives you a part in a very socially active club that is involved in the Indian Lake Community 365 days a year. Come and help out on the trail or equipment maintenance events, be a part of our 4th of July Parade Float or our Snocade Week activities, help with our community outreach during Moose Festival or the Black Fly Challenge. Join us for a group ride to visit the WW Durant, have your children obtain their Youth Snowmobile Safety Certification, get certified to run our Groomer and learn how. You name it, there is a lot to do and the Snowarriors don’t stop when the snow melts. Best of all you can do it all with a variety of folks from all walks of life but bound by the love of being outdoors and riding sleds. COME JOIN US. WE RIDE STRONGER TOGETHER.
